Lucille McGurty (née Dubois)
1944 – 2025
At the age of 81 years on 30 November, after a long illness, Lucille Dubois McGurty sadly passed away.
Beloved daughter of Aimé and Marie-Jeanne, youngest sister to Denise, Pierre Gille and Claire (all deceased).
Loved and loving wife of Eddie of 63 years. Cherished mother of Bruce and Michael. Much loved mother-in-law of Sue and Jacqui. Adored grandmother of Daniel and wife Anya, Anthea and partner Rowan, Christopher, Douglas and partner Kierra and great grandmother of Winona.
Tante, Auntie, and friend to many.
She will be dearly missed, always in our hearts, forever loved.
The family will receive condolences at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, Quebec on Thursday December 4 from 10:00am to 1:00pm followed by a chapel service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Mike my condolences to you and your dad and family. I met your mom many years ago from hockey between Dorval old timers and Falmouth old timers during our exchange. She was such a sweet lady.
Terry and I wish to express our sympathies to Ed and the McGurty family on the passing of Lucille who we met through hockey and would often encounter on are walks through Dorval North. Fond memories will always be cherished.

Our sincere condolences to the whole family and friends. I was introduced to Lucille and Ed when I was young by Hilda and Tony Rueberer. I remember seeing her smiling and talking to neighbours who passed by when she and Ed were gardening in the front yard.
I remember her hugs and her telling me how much she loved me. It would come when I most needed it. I will forever remember her. I am grateful that I got the chance to be in her presence. She is definitely now hugging, loving and guiding her loved ones for eternity. They say that they never leave us and they are stronger once they transition. I am sure Lucille is an angel!
