IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARY ISSAZADEH PATEHVIRI
Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, November 22nd, at the age of 94.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Ilisha, as well as her siblings Odishoo, Helen and Sargis. She was a cherished and beloved mother to Karmel, Ramsin and Ramin (Christiane); doting and devoted grandmother to Ninos (Maddy), Andrea (Troy), Nineb and Alexander (Olivia); loving aunt to Jean (Mimi), Joseph (Charlette), Peter, Anabel (Alex), Jacques, and Ezabel (Jay).
Mary dedicated her entire life to her family. Even from childhood she cared for immediate family members, and her loving care for others continued throughout her long life. Her kindness, compassion, generosity and warm hospitality were hallmarks of her expression of love for relatives and friends; a love deep and unconditional, always willing to sacrifice her own needs for others and never asking or expecting anything in return. She lived her vocation as a mother intensely, being a loving mother to all who came into her life.
As an accomplished cook, anyone invited to Mary’s table could expect a true feast and numerous promptings to taste and enjoy all that was put before them. Nothing delighted Mary more than pleasing others with such caring acts of service as the preparation of a wonderful meal.
She also loved to travel, and made numerous trips to California to visit relatives, as well as vacations to explore such places as Florida, Aruba, and Hawaii.
Her deep faith helped guide her throughout the inevitable storms of life, and strengthened her in all situations. She would often remind family members “God is big” – testament to her own trust in God’s providence.
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal, 560, Lakeshore Dr. Dorval, on Friday, November 28th, from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a chapel funeral service, and burial at Mount Royal cemetery.

To lose the only aunt left was hard to not hear her boice is even harder im going miss you sooooo much atoiiiiiiiii 🥲🥲🥲💔 may you rest in eternal peace
