Throughout her younger years, Jean also lived in Pointe St-Charles QC, and in various parts of Southwestern Ontario. In 1954, Jean, her husband Ben and daughter Janet moved to Lanoraie, QC. In 1956, they welcomed their second daughter Elaine. After 45 years of farming tobacco, Jean and Ben moved to LaSalle QC to be closer to their growing families.
Predeceased by her husband Benediktas Pakulis, her brother Al and her sister Anne, Jean is survived by her children Janet and Elaine (David), her grandchildren Adam (Amanda), Nicholas (Tara), Jay (Caitlin) and Matthew (Alison), her great grandchildren Clara, Avery, Raya, Violet, Rosie, Nolan and Boyd, her nieces Chris (Hussein), Brenda (Ian), her nephew Bryan, her great nieces Danielle and Keeley, her extended family in the US and Lithuania and friends in the Lithuanian community.

The family will share fond memories of Jean's life at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the McGill University Health Center Foundation would be appreciated.
Jean was a soft spoken, gentle and kind mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and dear friend to many. We will miss her.
