1936 – 2025

Mr. René Cyr passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 88 years.

He is predeceased by his first wife, Celine Couturier (1972), and by his second wife, Micheline Thibault (2017).
He is survived by his sons Daniel and David (Magdalena Bielanska); his grandchildren Nat, Filip, Charlotte, and Sebastian; his daughter-in-law Leigh-Ann; as well as other relatives and friends.
Resting at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home (560 Lakeshore dr., Dorval, QC H9S2B3, 514-631-1511) on Monday, June 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 3, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Église La-Présentation-de-la-Sainte-Vierge on Tuesday, June 3 at 1 p.m., followed by burial in the Dorval cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Société Québécoise du cancer would be appreciated.
