Joaquim Carvalho
1928-2026
After a long and sweet lived life, Joaquim Carvalho, beloved father of Gina (Dino), generous and loving grandfather to Joel and Kevan (Melissa), predeceased by his wife Amelia, uncle to Rui (Irene), Fé (Nelson), Nancy (Andrew) and Charles (Angie), and mentor and friend to many others, has left us following a brief illness.
Your sense of humor, curiosity and positive attitude guided you well and made you many friends. We will miss you and sharing dessert together over old movies, Benfica games, and F1 races.
The family extends their thanks to all the staff of Château du Lac Residence for the care and kindness he received these last years, as well as the support and many hugs at the time of his passing.
Visitations will take place at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home (560 Lakeshore, Dorval, QC, H9S 2B3) on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 from 2 to 4 pm, immediately followed by a memorial service in the funeral home’s chapel.
