Henry Charles d’Auriol
1931 – 2026
Henry passed away peacefully March 22, 2026 at the age of 94.
Lovingly remembered by his only child, Brian J. d’Auriol, and his surviving sister, Françoise d’Auriol-Pietzner. He will be missed by members of his extended family, and close friends June, Paul, Gerry, Eric, along with many others. Loving husband to Eileen Leishia d’Auriol (Mulligan) deceased in 1978 and Anna Elizabeth d’Auriol (Watters) deceased in 2008. Predeceased by his mother, Caroline de Mezamat de Lisle, father, Gustave Charles Albert d’Auriol, brother Jean and sisters Chantal and Gabrielle.
Born in Argentina, Henry at an early age moved to Peru where he spent his formative years having had opportunities to travel throughout Peru from the beaches to the coastal deserts to the high Andes mountains to the interior jungles. Henry was an accomplished engineer with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Mechanical and in Electrical engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and worked in the aeronautical, satellite and nuclear fields in Canada and internationally. Henry was also a very good black and white photographer, having at one time his own darkroom where he had produced several high-quality prints. Henry was fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Visitation in the presence of Henry’s ashes is at 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at St. Veronica’s Parish located at 1300 Ave. Carson, Dorval, QC H9S 1M6; followed by the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.
Donations to charitable organizations for children who are victims of abuse or poverty are requested in lieu of flowers or other types of contributions.
