Dong Yul Yun

1936-2025

윤동렬 장로님은 1936년 4월 22일 한국에서 태어나 2025년 11월 21일에 예수님께 부르심을 받아 하늘나라에서 예수님 곁에 있게 되었습니다. 

윤동렬 장로님은 기쁨과 사랑, 자비, 그리고 하나님에 대한 흔들림 없는 믿음으로 가득했습니다. 장로님은 마지막 순간까지 사랑하는 남편, 아버지, 친구, 할아버지로서 주변 사람들에게 끝없는 사랑과 애정을 베풀었습니다. 그는 코카콜라와 사이다, 버터와 크림치즈를 곁들인 베이글과, 골프를 사랑했으며, 그의 시그니처 인사인 “오케이~!”로 기억됩니다.

장로님은 어릴 때부터 주님을 섬기는 데 삶을 바쳤으며, 몬트리올 한인연합교회 장로로 섬겼습니다. 장로님이  마침내 예수님 곁에서 좋아하는 찬송을 부르며 하늘에서 가족들을 지켜보고 계심을 알고 기뻐합니다.

장로님은 아내 이군자 권사님, 세 자녀 윤재수, 윤재희, 윤재현, 여섯 손주 윤은혜, 윤건, 김슬아, 김한별, 윤진, 윤신, 그리고 세 명의 증손주 윤승리, 윤가영, 윤동준을 남기고 떠났습니다. 가족들은 영원히 장로님을 기억하며 그리워할 것입니다. 

장례식은 11월 25일 화요일 오후 7시 Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home에서 거행됩니다. 조문은 장례식 전인 오후 6시부터 7시까지, 그리고 장례 예배 직후부터 오후 9시까지 가능합니다.

Dong Yul Yun, born on April 22, 1936, in South Korea, was called by Jesus to be by His side in heaven on November 21, 2025. He was the beloved son of Jin-Nam Yun and Young-Soon Lee.

Dong Yul’s journey on this earth was one marked by joy, love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Dong Yul was a loving husband, father, friend, and grandfather until the very end – one with a bottomless amount of love and fondness for those around him. He is remembered for his love for Coca-Cola, bagels with butter and cream cheese, golf, and his signature “okay~!” response.

A faithful servant to Jesus, Dong Yul dedicated his life from an early age to serving the Lord and was an elder at Montreal Korean United Church. His family rejoices knowing that he is finally with Jesus, singing all of his favourite hymns, and watching over them from heaven.

Dong Yul is survived by his wife, Kun Ja Lee, three children, Jae-soo Yun, Jae-hee Yun, and Jae-hyun Yun, and six grandchildren, Lena Yun, Justin Yun, Elissa Kim, Daniel Kim, Joshua Yun and Shin Yun, and one great-grandchild, San Jay Mebdouhi-Yun, Cleo Yun, and Kadence Yun. Dong Yul will forever be remembered and missed by them.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th at 7:00 PM at the Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM, and immediately after the ceremony until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
