In Loving Memory of Diane Patricia Beaudoin Mosienko
Diane Patricia Beaudoin Mosienko passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, September 20th, at the age of 72. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her loved ones.
Diane is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, David, and her daughter, Christiane, along with Christiane’s husband, Ramin. She was a proud grandmother to Andrea and Alexander.
Diane’s siblings include Louise (Keith), Paul, and Lorraine. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph. Her extended family also includes her step-siblings: Debi, Melanie (Terry), Chris (Tara), Myles (Michelle), and Linda (Bob). She is remembered fondly by her sister-in-law, Carol (Andre), and a large circle of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
While Diane was known for her intensely private nature, those who were close to her appreciated her acerbic wit and unique sense of humour—sometimes dry, sometimes exuberant. She found great pleasure in reading and gardening, pursuits that brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.
Diane’s passion for the written word extended to writing her own novels and short stories. She also enjoyed playing the piano and was an accomplished photographer. Frequent visits to her cottage allowed her to relish the peace and tranquillity of nature.
The family will receive condolences at Lakeshore Cardinal, 560 Lakeshore Dr., Dorval, on Tuesday, September 30th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A chapel service will follow to celebrate Diane’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to NOVA West Island and/or Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Centre, in honour of Diane’s memory.
