Mireille La Salle Parvin

1947 – 2025

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mireille La Salle Parvin who left us on April 21st, 2025 at the age of 77, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She departed this world as she lived in it, surrounded by love, warmth, and grace.

Mireille was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her.  Her infectious smile, kind heart, and unwavering optimism lifted everyone she met.  Whether she was sharing a quiet moment with a friend or dancing to her favorite song, she embraced life fully and encouraged others to do the same.  Her positivity wasn’t just a trait; it was a gift she gave freely to the world.

A devoted mother, Mireille taught her children the true meaning of love, strength, and compassion. She found joy in life’s simplest pleasures—sunny mornings, art, piano, music, poetry, and heartfelt conversations.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Mohamed Parvin.

She is survived by her dear children Dalia (Tristan), Sofia (John Christopher) and Sacha (Isabelle); her cherished grandchildren Maya, Keena, Malik, Jordano, Emma, Adriano, and Jaylen; her dear friend and companion Gary; her brother Jean-Claude (Germaine); her sisters Lise and France (Yvon); her nephews Behrooz and Jean-Michel, niece Julie, as well as relatives and many friends.

Resting at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, H9S 2B3, (514-631-1511) and according to the wishes of the deceased, there will be no public visitations.  However, you are welcome to join the family for the burial at Dorval Cemetery, 665 de l’Église Ave, Dorval Quebec H9S 1R4 on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 3 pm.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff of Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Teresa Dellar Community Foundation. https://residencesoinspalliatifs.ca/en/donate/

Though we are heartbroken by her absence, we are eternally grateful for the time we had and the love she gave so freely. Mireille was, and always will be, a beautiful soul who made the world brighter.
