James Martel
1961-2025
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our brother James Martel, at the age of 63 years.
Loving son of the late Leo Paul and Mary Evelyn and brother of the late Philip.
He leaves behind his sisters Sheila (Jean), Pauline (Jim), Diane (Dave), Alice (Ulrich), and Brenda. Special Uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and great nephews. Loving friend to Jocelyne.
James will always be remembered for his generous heart, his strong work ethic, his commitment and devotion to his love of broom ball through his Company La Navette Sportive, enjoying holidays with family and friends and his sense of humour.
As per James’ wishes he will be cremated.
The family will accept condolences on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, QC, H9S 2B3. His burial will take place at a later date, for family only.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name, can be made to Proanima Rescue or Diabete Quebec.
