Henri-Paul Boulianne
We are saddened to announce the passing of Henri-Paul Boulianne, son of the late Henri Boulianne and the late Marie-Ange Beaumont, at the age of 91.
A native of the Saguenay region and retired for many years, he leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Marie-Louise Barnabé, with whom he shared many happy years.
He also leaves behind his cherished daughters: Michelle (Pierre Gauthier), Nicole, and Nathalie (Stephen Champagne).
His precious grandchildren: Marilou Blackburn-Boulianne (Maxime Brassard), Jean-Philippe Gauthier, Maxime Blackburn-Boulianne (Marie-Andrée Rodrigue), Sabrina Champagne (Khaled Hamed), Francis Champagne (Viktoria Alexander), and Stéphanie Champagne, as well as his great-granddaughters: Sophia Dugas Gauthier, Flora Blackburn, Gisèle Brassard, Vivianne Blackburn, and Juliette Brassard, will cherish his memory. He also leaves to mourn his sister Candide Boulianne (Gilles Delisle), his sister-in-law Lise Bergeron, as well as many nephews, nieces, and longtime friends.
He enjoyed spending time with the late Pierrette Boulianne (the late Camille Potvin), the late Jean Marie Boulianne (the late Élisa Larouche), the late Georgette Boulianne, and the late Oscar Boulianne.
He will be remembered for his love of fishing, casinos, and travel—passions that marked his life and created precious memories with his loved ones.
The family will receive condolences at the Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore Road, Dorval, Quebec H9S 2B3, on Sunday, February 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow.
