François R. Ricard
1953-2025
François R. Ricard took his last flight at the age of 71, on Wednesday April 9th, surrounded by his partner Linda Lalonde and his two children, Sophie and Phil Ricard.
He also leaves behind his grand-daughter Kami, his brother Jean and two sisters Lise and Mireille.
Frank leaves us the memory and example of a giving man, who navigated through life spreading as much positivity as possible. He loved conversation, exploration, and his family.
We invite you to commemorate the life of François on Saturday May 10th, from 1 to 4pm, at the Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal.

FRANK, you left us too soon. God must have needed you very badly. He knew that with your skills, you’ll be able to teach the archangels how to fly in no time. Rest in peace, my old friend.

I am heartbroken for Francois’s family and send my love to Linda and all the Ricards. I knew Frank as a child as my family and his were close neighbours and friends at our beloved Lac Souris.
Frank was a kind person even as a youngster- unless you were a frog at the “crik ” and then watch out- he’d bring those legs home for his maman to cook up for him!
A gourmet even back then!
I was so glad to see him a few years ago when he surprised me at Mimi’s home. . So good of him have come in to Dorval. We shared many great memories of our lake years and laughed a lot.Adieu mon bon ami si courageaux.
