Donald Fitzgerald
1935 – 2025
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Donald Fitzgerald on January 28, 2025, following a stroke.
Son of the late Gérald Fitzgerald and the late Amandine Laliberté. Brother of the late Harry Fitzgerald, the late Irène Fitzgerald (Cousineau), and the late Géraldine Fitzgerald (Huard).
He is survived by his partner, Simone Arsenault, his daughters Ann (Donald Samulack), Louise (Pierre Carrier), Christine (Pierre Legault), and Céline (Réal Garant), his grandchildren Amélie, Patrick, Nicolas, Julien, Camille, Simon, and Tristan, as well as his great-grandchildren Raphaëlle, Alice, Emma-Rose, Éli, Zackary, and Riley.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 1;00pm to 2:00 pm, at the Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home in Dorval, 560 Bord-du-lac, Dorval, H9S2B3, 514-631-1511. Service in the chapel will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date at Notre-Dame Cemetery in Rouyn-Noranda.
