Denis Vachon
1963 – 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Vachon on July 8, 2025, at the age of 61.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Andrea, his daughter, Alexandra (Noah), and his brother, Marc. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Robert and Denise. He is also remembered with love by his extended family and many dear friends and neighbours. Denis will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He will be remembered for his big heart, his love of music, and his eagerness to lend a hand. Whether sharing a laugh, a song, or a cold beer, Denis knew how to make the most of every day.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m., at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Chem. du Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore, Dorval, QC H9S 2B3.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Denis’s memory may be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence or the Cedars Cancer Foundation.

Dear Andrea and Alex, we are all so heartbroken for you and feel so very sad too on losing lovely Denis.
Denis was such a kind, polite gentlemen. He brought a warm glow to our hearts and he was such a fun guy to be with . He was a wonderful Brother and friend to Bob and I and an amazing loving Uncle to our children .
We are all so sad that we couldn’t be with Denis more but we will always cherish the beautiful memories that we were able to have with him.
It was truly an honour to know and love him. We will always love you Denis, RIP ❤️.

I wish I could find the words to help console you in these difficult times. Denis was one of a kind! We are blessed to have known him for so many years. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten! His memory and music will forever be in our hearts.

Very sorry for your loss, wishing you strength during this difficult time.
Death is so painful for those left behind but my memories of Denis fill me with joy. When my sister Andrea first unveiled him to me and Christine we thought who is this handsome devil. As we got to know him it got better and better. A great sense of humour and all round proper dude. Fast forward a few years later and we’re hooking up for holidays in Minnesota and England. Great times!
Gets even better with the arrival of our beautiful niece Alexandra.
So whilst we mourn his loss from our family he’s still there for me.
RIP my Buddy and Uncle Denis.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que j’ai appris le décès de Denis.
Il était bien plus qu’un ami : une personne exceptionnelle, toujours présente, toujours authentique.
J’ai du mal à croire qu’il n’est plus là. Denis était un être rare, un ami extraordinaire comme on en rencontre peu dans une vie.
Sa générosité, son humour et sa lumière resteront à jamais vivants dans mes souvenirs.
Ton départ me bouleverse, Denis, mais ton passage dans ma vie a été un véritable cadeau.
Je suis de tout cœur avec vous Andréa, Alex et Marc en ces moments difficiles.
