    1. On behalf of my family , I would like to thank you for your kind words. Mom loved having you as neighbors and appreciated your friendship,

“Claire Les Yeux Clairs” — my mom would say that was what they called you, Taunte Claire. Oh, how she loves you, too, Claire, and all the stories she would share about her time with her sisters. Your relationship with your sisters and brother informed my siblings on how siblings and family should behave. You were always accepting, always kind, always laughing at our jokes (even when they weren’t really that funny). The ultimate hostess, so willing to hug and say the nicest things about us. Now you join the rest of the gang, your Earl, Suzanne, Michael, Glenn, Paul, Gordon, your mother and father. I wish I could be there to say goodbye. My deepest sympathies to Peter, Marie, Elise, Josette, Thomas and Robert and to all the other lives you have touched that now must say goodbye. Much love, Elyzabeth

Peter, Marie, Robert and Thomas: Claire – your mother and grandmother and our cherished neighbour – was the embodiment of Family. Her love for you all – for her family – was something to admire. She was a pillar, a rock, so kind and caring, so positive and so strong. She will be sorely missed but is now with Earl and Michael again. We will miss her optimism and amusing conversations, but know she has left a legacy that will never be forgotten. Earl and Claire were quite a pair, and we always admired their dedication to you all. Michael too, family was everything. Cherish every memory, they will always be with you.

  4. To the Waguespack and Charland family we send you our love and thoughts. Tante Claire was a special person who loved her family and it was always a joy to be around her! All our love, Kathleen, Robert, Erin and Finn

  5. My Godmother and Tante Claire – what a beautiful soul, so generous and giving to her family and others. And that wonderful laugh! Our hearts are with you Peter, Marie, Elise, Josette, Robert, And Thomas. With much love, Louise, Gylton, and Alex

I didn’t really know Claire but i heard a lot of nice things about her from my friend Josette, her younger sister. I’m sure i have met her at least once a long time ago. From what Josette tells me, Claire seemed to be a very nice person. It is with deep regret that i wasn’t able to attend her funeral and met her family because of previous commitment but my heart and thoughts go out the family specially to my friend Josette. May Claire rest in heavenly peace and I’m sure she’s very happy in heaven to be united with her husband Earl. My sincere condolences to the family.
