Carol Joyce

1965-2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Joyce, who left us on October 3rd, 2025 at the age of 60.

Carol passed away after a courageous battle over the last seven months.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband Marc Beauregard as well as her sister Elizibeth Joyce and brother Albert Joyce. She is also survived by her aunt, Mary Gagnon, and her cousins Robert and Karen.

She is also survived by her stepchildren Steven Beauregard (Amanda Stehr) and their children Nicholas and Lucas, and Robert Beauregard (Jessica Moore) and their children Harisson and Scarlett. She loved all the grandchildren and the whole family very much.

One cannot forget her Fur baby Bradley whom she loved very much.

Carol was known for her love of life, and outgoing personality. She could light up a room with her presence and was always ready to laugh and dance. She had an infectious smile and enjoyed every adventure that life had for her. She really enjoyed travel, and was fortunate to go on many cruises and trips. Italy was her favorite destination, where she met Marc’s extended family, who were so welcoming to her and Marc. She loved taking the camper to her childhood vacation spot York Beach Maine, where she could get her ice cream sundaes at Goldenrods.

She made many friends over the course of her work life, and was always an integral part of the success of companies such as Puma Canada, Mint Green, Air Canada and lastly In-Sport Fashions where she was customer service manager. In-Sport was particularly generous in allowing her the time she needed to fight her illness, and Carol was extremely grateful for that.

She also spent over fifteen years selling cushions at Finnegans market in Hudson, where she was affectionately known as the pillow lady. She made many good friends with both the other vendors and customers, as well as the Aird family.

The family will receive condolences at Lakeshore Cardinal, 560 Lakeshore Dr., Dorval, H9S 2B3 on Thursday, October 9th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a chapel service (12:30-1:30 p.m.).

Following the service, she will be buried at 2:30 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 701 Donegani Ave, Pointe-Claire, H9R 5G6.

Carol would be upset if the tremendous care she received at the Jewish General Hospital from Dr. Chantal Cassis and the whole hematology team was not mentioned. A tremendous thank you to you all for trying and trying to keep her safe and healthy.

May she rest in peace.

I am deeply sorry to hear that Auntie Carol has passed away. She was one of the best people I know and made every trip to Montréal a special one. I appreciated all the time I was able to spend with her whether that be walking the dog or coming over for dinner. She also would give my brother and I Puma shoes for our birthdays which was very much appreciated. May she rest in peace. Love, Giancarlo 🤍

  3. I’m so sad to read of Carol’s passing. She and I met at Animatch and connected immediately. I loved her positive attitude, her sense of humour and her crazy personality. She lit up the room no matter how elbow deep we were in dog poop!

I was happy to run into her from time to time at our shared hair salon. It was fun to sit and catch up while we were both being beautified.

She will be missed but I will remember her wonderful spirit. Condolences to all of you and rest in peace Carol.
